Rocky Mountain Saints: A Full and Complete History, Part I & II

By T.B.H Stenhouse

This is a one volume work spanning 734 Pages plus the Index. I am breaking it down into two parts in order to limit these book reports to twenty-five hundred words. Scanning through the Table of Contents, I see interesting titles and subtitles: Hasty Departure of the Apostles, (they were forced out in mid-winter when they had been promised their unmolested stay until spring), Brigham’s first and last “Revelation”, Federal Officers in Utah, and some sycophants to the priesthood.

Stenhouse is a newspaperman. This may be why he is wordy and able to write with precision. I look forward to tackling this heavy volume of work.
