Orson Hyde: One of the First Council of  the Twelve Apostles

By Joseph Smith Hyde

Orson Hyde is with Brigham Young and Heber Kimball along the trail leading from Nauvoo, Illinois towards an unknown westward destination. Bill Hickman (see Nefarious Elders) was ordered to protect Elder Hyde when Brigham Young and Heber Kimball made their first trip to the Great Basin. Bill Hickman is credited with saving Elder Hyde’s life on more than one occasion. As I continue to read and write reports, things will become clearer. I think this man will be a good character for the second book.
